About the Author *

  • TJ is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of a Level 1 trauma center and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). He has spent his career at the bedside of critically ill children, where life, death, and impossible choices often collide. It is from this place of raw humanity that he draws his fiction, whether writing medical thrillers or sprawling fantasy epics.

He is the author of Take One, Save One, a tense and emotional thriller rooted in medical realism, and the upcoming fantasy trilogy The Gospel of Ruin. Across genres, his work is united by distinct and captivating characters, morally gray decisions, and stories that refuse to let readers go quietly when the final page turns. His goal is not just to entertain, but to leave readers thinking about life long after the book has closed.

TJ lives in Richmond, Virginia with his incredible husband and their three dogs. When he isn’t working in the PICU or writing, he can often be found training for a Spartan Race or adding another book to his ever-growing collection. An avid reader and unapologetic book collector, he insists every new purchase is “for research.” With humor, humanity, and an eye for the unforgettable, he writes stories that bridge the space between ruin and resilience.
